Fill Our Lives With Grace

Fill Our Lives With Grace?

Dear Wisdom,

Please help us to understand the concept of grace, and to fill our lives with grace.

“They long for you and pray for you because of the surpassing grace of God”. 2 Corinthians 9:14

What is grace? How can we bring more grace into our lives? Thank YOU!

Care to comment, Wisdom?

Answer

A person was born with grace.

People expect. They expect to wake up each morning. Most all expect to breathe on their own, put on their own shoes and expect to live that day.

If one thinks about it, they expect life to continue on.

*What if a person stopped expecting and started living with an awareness that all life is from the grace of God.

Every movement made is because of the grace of God.

It isn’t until they no longer perform a function on their own, does it become aware of how much that action was taken for granted.

If one were to start looking at life as a continuous gift from God instead of feeling entitled, living each day is seen with feelings of gratitude.

Look around.

Many people don’t have food for one meal, or running water nor dishes to clean.

To have any clothing to cover the body is but for the grace of God.

People are surrounded by God’s grace.

One needs to wake up to this truth and realize how much of life you expect because you are alive.

*Start each day with appreciation instead of finding faults.

One starts living with gratitude instead of expectation.

God’s grace surrounds a person.

Open the inner eyes to this fact.

Thank you so much, Wisdom, with joy.

You are welcome little coffee filter.

A coffee filter keeps the ground coffee beans from getting into the cup of coffee.

The filter allows the water to pass through the coffee grinds and flavor the fluid, keeping the grounds from ruining the coffee.

Use the spiritual filter to keep out the daily aspects of living that interfere with keeping the current of joy from flowing.

*Complaining causes the filter to clog, stopping the steady flow of gratitude.

Filter out any chunks of negative thinking.

Filter in the understanding of God’s grace.

Life can then be savored with a heart full of joy.
