Get Wisdom, Get Understanding

Get Wisdom, Get Understanding

Dear Wisdom,

Please help us to better grasp the full value of the book of Proverbs from the Old Testament.

“Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or swerve from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it costs all you have, get understanding. Esteem her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. She will set a garland of grace on your head and present to you with a crown of splendor.” Proverbs 4:5

Please explain. There seems to be a nearly over exaggeration of the pursuit of wisdom. Why? What is this garland of grace and crown of splendor? Thank YOU!

Answer

People usually think of getting close to God when troubles arise.

Even then, it is usually pleading and if the answer is no, they think the Lord has rejected them.

Gleaning understanding is to realize God does not base the answers on just the human desire, but that of their soul and karmic energy.

The spirit is not living for just this lifetime.

*When a person would rather follow God then the ego, the connection with the universe becomes more intimate. A strong bond is felt by the human.

It is not that God loves you more but the person’s heart is open to receive more insight into the Divine Lord’s love.

*One realizes this life is being lived for the soul, not for the ego and its distractions.

When one has a tiny understanding of the unconditional love God has for you, it is overwhelming.

*Those that have experienced feelings of this union, have no words to describe the wealth of the emotion this unconditional love creates.

Thank you so much, Wisdom, with joy.

You are welcome, little “leaf blower”.

Leaf blowers use air to move leaves and light dirt along the path.

The theory was to replace sweeping.

One needs to control the direction the air flows in order to be beneficial.

One can make this situation worse if they just blow the debris in the air.

You can use a “leaf blower” in the mind to clean up cluttered thoughts and make room for more time with God.

If the mind is clogged with outdated beliefs, new ideas have no place to stay.

Use a mental leaf blower and make more room for the Divine Lord.

Let God decide what to save or blow away.
